It would be a rare business today that conducts all its affairs in one location. Most business people spend at least some of their working time out of their office – and so do their customers. Because of this, they expect to be able to use technology provided by their smartphone, tablet, or other mobile device to complete tasks, including those involving invoicing and account management.
Web Based and Responsive
At Hart Partners, we recommend that our clients consider Xero™ Accounting Software as the ideal solution. Because it is a web-based system, it works on any device that can access the internet. And importantly, it is continually updated to ensure that it is compatible with the most recent versions of all major browsers.
You can choose to have your own Xero account or be given access to Xero via our account (this is the most cost effective option).
We know that when new clients come to us they are concerned that, because they are using a different system, they will lose that data if they move to Xero. But Xero has made it easy to import data from other accounting software services.
Xero on Desktop, or Handheld Devices
Xero’s website embraces the latest technologies, which means you can read a Xero web page on your smart phone without having to stretch the page or constantly scroll across. It is ‘responsive’, which means that it will adapt to whichever device you are using; it resizes or rearranges elements depending on the size of the screen.
Ideally though, when using Xero on a phone or tablet, most of our clients choose to use Xero’s mobile app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App store or Google Play and work directly from the App.
Xero on mobile devices is much the same as Xero on a desktop computer – it is intuitive and easy to use, and has a great troubleshooting guide and help desk should you encounter any problems.
It’s All There – In Real Time
Being a cloud based solution, businesses no longer have the issue of reconciling accounting details from employees only when they return to the office. It can all be stored Xero, no matter where they are. Members of your team can complete tasks, like invoicing and expenses (uploading photos of receipts at the same time!), wherever they have mobile data coverage.

Mobile access to Xero allows a business owner or employee to make the most of every minute of their working day…… whether waiting for a client to arrive, spending time at an airport gate or lounge, or between job call outs.
