Did you know you can purchase property within your SMSF?

If you have considered setting up a Self Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) no time is better than now.

Don’t worry if you cannot purchase outright, you can borrow within the SMSF.  You can even lend money yourself to your SMSF, for example, you can use the equity in your home and then lend the money to the SMSF.  The SMSF then repays the loan to yourself at the prescribed interest rate.   One major advantage is that interest rates are normally lower than if the SMSF borrowed the funds directly from a bank. Not only that the fees are also usually lower.
